Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Moab, Utah, our Women's Retreat offers a transformative sanctuary for women seeking harmony between body and mind. Led by river guide, Chan Savage, this retreat will combine elements of yoga, meditation, river rafting (with an all-female team of guides!) and insightful discussions to foster a deep connection with one's body and emotions.
There will be time for talking, connecting, playing, and resting through various sessions.
Dr. Lauren Barnes, LMFT brings her clinical and professional expertise and lived experience in women's issues. Against the backdrop of the river and beautiful red rocks, attendees will have the option to engage in rejuvenating yoga practices designed to promote awareness, connection, and inner balance led by our river guide and Registered Yoga Teacher
Chan Savage, YTT 200 HR.
Guided meditation sessions will encourage mindfulness and self-reflection, allowing individuals to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness and acceptance.
Shara Jackson Harper, CSW, LCCE
will guide participants through an enriching session focused on understanding and honoring the menstrual cycle as something we can work with instead of against.
Participants will explore topics related to body image, self-esteem, and the societal pressures that influence women's perceptions of beauty and worth in guided discussions led by Dr. Lauren Barnes. Through shared experiences and supportive dialogue, women are empowered to challenge limiting beliefs and embrace their unique identities with confidence and authenticity.
Our goal is to safe and inclusive environment where women can freely express themselves, forge meaningful connections, and embark on a transformative journey toward greater self-love and acceptance. Amidst the breathtaking beauty of Moab's natural surroundings, this retreat promises a nourishing experience for the body, mind, and soul.
