Guided by Zak Hazlett (@the_outdoor_therapist) and his team, this trip is a retreat from the daily struggles and stressors of life, offering you an experience that empowers you while providing you with techniques to rediscover and cherish your individuality. Enjoy group sessions with Zak that will help to gain clarity, devise a self-love plan, and truly embrace your authentic self.
Our journey begins with two days of tranquil waters and serene landscapes, covering 49 miles until we reach the Confluence of the Colorado and Green rivers. Here, we'll exchange digital tales for ancient stories as we explore the Anasazi Petroglyphs, guided by our experienced and friendly team. We'll connect, laugh, and learn amidst the splendor of nature.
On day three, we'll experience the exhilarating thrill of the world-renowned Cataract Canyon rapids. This heart-stopping, adrenaline-fueled adventure is an unforgettable part of our journey.
Finally, we'll peacefully glide across Lake Powell's calm waters, ending our journey at Hite Marina. Choose your own ending: an aerial view of the captivating Canyonlands National Park on a return flight to Moab, or a road trip in your vehicle waiting at the takeout point. The latter option offers the freedom to continue exploring the scenic spots and hidden treasures of this enchanting area.

Trip Itinerary:Day 1-2 - We will cruise the serene 49 miles of calm water to the confluence of the mighty Colorado and Green Rivers. We’ll also explore the land and ancient Anasazi Petroglyphs through hikes led by our guides.
Day 3 - RAPIDS!! The adrenaline kicks in as we navigate the rapids that have made Cataract Canyon famous. Let’s do hard things together. If water and rapids are something you’re afraid of, good. This trip is designed to help you grow as a person and lean into the challenge.
Day 4- On the final day, we journey across Lake Powell to Hite Marina. Depending on your chosen transportation option, we will transport you back to Moab, or you will find your vehicle awaiting you at our destination. This allows the freedom to explore other scenic points in the area at your leisure before journeying to your next destination. More details covered on the FAQ page.

What to Expect: - Rapids ranging from class II-V
- All necessary provisions including meals, tents, & sleeping bags are provided by Get Outside Together
- 4 days x 3 nights
- Please arrive in Moab the night before we launch. Most people stay an additional night in Moab after the trip and then fly out Sunday morning.

- Not included: Gratuity for guides and travel to Moab via flight or car (best place to fly in is the Moab UT airport, Salt Lake City UT, or Grand Junction CO)
Recommended Clothing: - Sun hat (and string to keep it from blowing off)
- Quick drying shorts and/or swimming suit
- T-shirts (Long sleeve is a good idea for sun protection in the hot summer months)
- River sandals or two pairs tennis shoes (one to get wet, one for camp)
